Female and Male Dogs Really DO Play Well Together

Dogs Playingmale pups are more likely to bow to females to invite them to play. The female-female sessions, however, tend to be more aggressive and tense. Basically, consider how children act on a playground. Girls may argue or fuss with one another, and boys will always try to please them.

So next time that the neighbor dog comes knocking for a play date with your girl, you can rightly question whether the male just wants to be friends.
