A Wonderful Place for Your Pets

Camp Run -A- Mutt in South Bay

A great place for your dog !

After a recent visit to Camp Run-A-Mutt all I can say is wow, what a great place for our dogs!

They offer a unique cage free day care experience for dogs. 10,000 square feet of play area features a park like setting on premium synthetic lawn with splash ponds and waterfalls, sun decks, ramps, bridges, dog houses and Kuranda dog beds. There's plenty of clean cool drinking water and  lots of sun ! Plus lots of shade and even misters for hot summer days.

"Alpha humans" ensure pups stay will be fun and safe while letting your dog just be a dog.

Camp Run A Mutt

Another wonderful service they offer to help rescues by offering free daycare for dogs that are being fostered  so they can help get the word out about them  and the dogs are visible on the Muttcams on their website.

Of course socialization is helpful in getting a dog adopted and what better place to be socialized while waiting for a forever home??? If a rescue dog needs to stay overnight we charge them $15/night (normally $55) and they need to supply food and meds if necessary.

If ANYONE adopts a dog they get 5 free days of daycare.

Although they aren't able to help a bunch of rescues at a time, one or two or three dogs at a time sure is a great help to all.

Pet Treat Recalls Increase

For the most up to date and recent offical pet food recalls go directly to the FDA Site Here http://www.fda.gov/animalveterinary/safetyhealth/recallswithdrawals/default.htm

Recalls – of which there are three types – are actions taken by a firm to remove a product from the market. Recalls may be conducted on a firm's own initiative, by FDA request, or by FDA order under statutory authority.
